As it says really, anyone got a car air freshener they recommend?
I have a day van that is primarily used to cart my German Shepherd dog around, so it often has that doggy smell particularly if he's got wet or whatever.
Is there any kind of industrial strength air fresheners out there, the cheaper ones seem to loose their fragrance after a couple of days?
Thanks

I would wet vac the existing seats/carpet and buy decent covers/mats first. You can odour bomb or ozone the car, but best to get rid of the underlying smell.

I've stopped using car specific air fresheners although Autogylm Odour Eliminator or Autofresh smell nice. You spray them on the seats/carpets. Febreze is meh, lasts a day or two at most.

I now just buy a 70 odd pence cotton fresh household air freshener from Aldi and cut the tab so that only about 1/4 of the gel is expose. It lives on the rear seat and ends up in the rear footwells. Works well for a reasonable amount of time.

As above, some of the gel type household air fresheners are your answer. Also, get rid of the dogs, they’re almost as bad as children, dirty smelly things…

Yeah, that’s a good shout on using the domestic air fresheners, cheaper and probably last longer

Could try one of those odour bombs that you release then close the doors and leave it for a bit to it's thing...

This kind of thing... https://www.mycarcleaning.co.uk/products/dakota-od...

There's a spray air-freshener called "Oust" which claims to neutralise the stinkage instead of just masking it. I use it in the house and the car and it does seem to work pretty well FWIW.

I have a FumeBar which I've been really impressed with, but it won't remove the smell. Sounds like you want to use one of those ozone machines
