Annual income required: application form
Discussion
Looking for a little guidance from them that know here please.
Filling in a form for son's further education (Scotland) and it asks for income over the last year.
I'm retired so that income is State Pension and a small Final Salary pension however I have also drawn a small sum from a private SIPP and also from an old "Contracted out of SERPS" pension. Should these sums be included? They're arbitrary withdrawals rather than a regular or monthly payment. I'm thinking yes they should be considered but then again if I hadn't wanted to buy a newer car I may not have drawn them.
Thoughts please.

I think the income bit is only relevant if your household income is less than £34,000 a year. If you earn over that you don’t need to fill it in. I didn’t fill it in and my son got his loan.

It is below £34k although a lot closer if I include the withdrawals from the SIPP & Contracted Out account.scotgov said:

They do count pensions but they say they will re-assess if your income is likely to drop so I suspect the best option is to contact them and ask.

What? Contact a Government body and expect a reply?
Well, they have a phone number and a live web chat so you might be better placed giving it a try rather than posting what-ifs on here... https://www.saas.gov.uk/contact-us
