With the rise in internet dating and a change in lifestyle habits since the pandemic, have any men here been subject to cockblocking lately?
It feels like a long time since I was last cockblocked, but that's mainly due to a lack of much talent, or at least talent I've been interested in. Essentially, there hasn't been much worth getting cockblocked for...
I remember back in 2018, I was out with a large group of people, participating in a sports activity on a Friday evening. As usual, we ended up at a pub at the end. I had got myself into a good position with a potential prospect, and decided to bounce her to a late night bar in central London, to which she agreed. However, another chap decided to invite himself along to this too. I didn't want to be rude, so I let him come along, hoping he'd make an early departure. We were in one of the few pubs in central London that was open until about 3am and this guy just wouldn't leave! I was expecting him to be gone by about 1am. It got to 3am and I suggested to the girl that we get some food and I thought that surely, this other guy would disappear. He didn't. He stuck like a limpet the whole time. By about 4am, we all said our goodbyes and ultimately, all of us left empty handed. It was a marathon, four-hour cockblocking session and I've never expereinced anything quite like it!
Have any of you experienced anything similar?

Also OP, you say "all of us left empty-handed". Are you sure the other two didn't meet up after they had got rid of you?
The other two did eventually meet some weeks later, but I had already got back with my previous girlfriend by that point anyway (about two weeks after this marathon session). Nothing came to fruition with the other two. The guy was described as being "too much of a beta"... Also OP, you say "all of us left empty-handed". Are you sure the other two didn't meet up after they had got rid of you?

The guy's a dinosaur at best. I can't imagine why the ladies aren't lining up.
OP, can you post up a picture of yourself (mid-hunt, if you like). I just want to pass it onto my daughter so she knows to avoid you if you ever show up.
