Looking for a decent four person tent with blackout bedroom, sewn in ground sheet and separate living area. I''m 6'4" so height would help!

Any recommendations from personal experience? It's going to be going to Download biggrin

Take a look at Decathlon. If its going to a festival I wouldn't want to be spending big bucks.
For the black out material you might be better off with an eye mask biggrin

I've been really pleased with the Decathlon air tent I bought last year. It's the Air Seconds 4.2 with a room at each end and a bit of space in the middle. The rooms have their fresh and black lining which is really good for blackout and seems to keep it relatively cool in warm weather. Really easy to put up and down by myself too. They're not amazingly cheap but I think they are good quality for the price.

I'm 6' 3" and no problems with space for me. Though I don't tend to stand up much in the tent (that's what the gazebo's for!)

Are you needing a 4 person tent (will fit 2 comfy or 3 cozy) or do you need to actually have 4 people sleeping in the tent?

Bit late now.. but when we were serially dating Glastonbury (14 years in a row!) we used to buy our family tents from Millets at the end of the camping season Sept-Oct. You could get a decent 4 birth tent for around 20% of the retail price.

We just used to leave it there and not bother packing it up as it was mostly trashed by then smile

If you plan on doing Rewind for a few years then its worth waiting for the end of year sales.

Two people, both tall. I like my creature comforts so want space, plus got a double layer king size inflatable mattress.

This should work then. It usually comes up in the sale for much less than this.

Horrible slopy front though. Pain in the bum if it rains. We had one, sold it, and bought a Kampa Hayling 4. Basically as big as an Icarus 5, but much better design.

...which is also 'slopey'! Can't beat vertical doors, preferably with an overhanging canopy or hood.
As they say, 'you pays your money and you takes your choice' and that is a very cheap tent with few discerning features.

Exactly. It wasn't a good design.
