I'm guessing we all end up with an assortment of ingredients in the kitchen, would a thread seeking ideas on how best to use them be helpful (and a bit of fun)? To kick off, I've got this little lot and would like to use the half pot of creme fraiche/single cream incorporating some of the rest if possible? There's half a pint of milk somewhere too and I don't mind buying 1 other ingredient. I've got a good range of dry herbs/spices/seasoning/oil etc. Oh, and two eggs.

Cheddar
Parmesan
Mint
Pasta
Couscous
Red kidney beans
Sweetcorn
Plus 2 eggs, half a pint of milk and some garlic

Could get 2 meals out of that and use the lot I recon.

If it were me I would buy/get a tin of tomatoes and do some sort of shakshuka/chill style hybrid dish

Along with the bought tinned tomatoes That would use up some of the garlic, kidney beans would chuck some sweetcorn in there too, loads of herbs/spices some dollops of crème fraîche and poach the eggs in the sauce - could serve it with some cous cous if you wanted carbs with it too - maybe a sprinkle of Parmesan or cheddar too

Could then make a pasta bake out of garlic, cheese, cream, sweetcorn etc could always buy some chicken or bacon for this too

Mint is the rogue ingredient - would stick it in a cup with some boiling water lol

I've cheated a bit, combined the mint, sweetcorn and kidney beans with additionally bought tomatoes, cucumber and spring onions to make a bean salad and used the lemon and lime juice with oil to make a dressing - turned out well. Crap photo's are due to my damaged phone - doh!

The dairy stuff I think will combine into a pasta dish of some sort, maybe a carbonara using the two eggs.

Macaroni cheese or if you had a tin of tuna add that and sweetcorn for tuna pasta bake. You could grill some cheese, lemon zest, and couscous over the top for a crust. The other option is a lemon, mint and olive couscous. Can't see how kidney beans could work with any of it.
