Following on from the thread on films - the very valid point was raised around comfort *series*.

I'll start with The US Office - I can literally watch it over and over, it's brilliant.

Also:

The (UK) Office
Inbetweeners
Detectorists
Peep Show
Friday Night Dinner

I've watched Band of Brothers more times that I can count. Would also put West Wing in that category, although thinking about it, it's been at least 10 years since I last did a watch through of it.

The US Office is favourite too; and I'm currently re-living ER from start to finish but not by watching it, instead listening to an episode-by-episode breakdown podcast.

I'd say these are the series that I watch in bed before falling asleep, I've lost count of the number of times I've been through:

The Office both UK and US
Parks and Rec
Lead Balloon
I'm Alan Partridge

Crikey, I can’t believe I didn’t put Family Guy and South Park on my list!
