GRRC area down by the start line, no visibility of the cars, however you may be able to time it with one of the driver visits, Mansell came and talked last year, then new for this year are the ‘pitstops’, no idea where they might be as they are new, plus you can normally get into Bonhams with your badge on the Thursday / possibly Friday

If you are a full GRRC member, you may be able to park in the forward area of the public car parks at the Festival of Speed if you are displaying your current windscreen pass (although the spaces are not unlimited and do fill up quickly). Forward parking is available in every car park.
You receive 10% off everything in the Goodwood shops (simply show your lapel badge when making your purchase).
You can access the Bonhams auction on Thursday, and also get a £10 discount on your programme which allows access to the sale itself.
You have unlimited and free access to two enclosures - the GRRC Enclosure by the start line, which has a fully seated, enclosed restaurant, outdoor seating, loos, lockers, GRRC staff on hand, phone charging and a series of talks and Q&As over the four days with drivers, VIPs etc. as well as access to the new GRRC Pitstop Enclosure which will be located above the F1 paddocks, and will offer covered and outdoor seating, food concessions, lockers, loos, GRRC staff and also talks and appearances. The Pitstop Enclosure is also open to the GRRC Fellowship.

You’re not alone in your views and at the recent breakfast club it was refreshing to bump into friends who said the same. Fellowship definitely feels like most of the perks for 1/4 the price. GRRC membership has always been borderline value for money for the many years I’ve been a member but there’s been a constant push for fellowship members to get more perks whilst we receive cutbacks.

But that's not what you said. The Kinrara ballot for Thursday may be a dilution of benefits, that is what this thread is about. Adding a new enclosure, shared or otherwise, is in no way a further dilution.
As to Fellowship Members also having access, until recently the startline enclosure was open to the public on Thursday.

I don't think anyone is going to win this debate. The GRRC members (like me) who failed in the Kinrara ballot will feel a bit shafted. Those who succeeded will wonder why anyone is making a fuss.
Sarah - will those who failed in the Kinrara ballot this year get priority in next year's (assuming that's what you do again)?

Until the waiting list reduces from years to months it's unlikely that benefits will get better. Simple supply and demand. Victim of it's own success
The only 'value' I see in membership is early access and discounts on tickets - anything else is a bonus.
It would be really nice to be made to feel special, but I'm not getting my hopes up - the enclosure last year was embarassing and I've had 0 success in all ballots I have entered.
