Looking for a pair of good quality slippers that will last a long time.

Not too insulated to prevent sweaty feet but hard wearing.

My Greggs aren't quite cutting it. wink

Birkenstocks, wool with a cork sole, lasted a good long while.

I wear UGG boots as slippers, had them about 6 years now, and apart from looking a bit tatty, still perfectly good.

If it ever comes to the day I feel the need to wear slippers, then I doubt they'll need to be long lasting smile

I've got some lovely Ted Baker ones that my wife got me for Christmas. Bloomin lovely. Leather and suede type outer with a fluffy interior.

Winter - furry crocs.

Summer - espadrilles.

Any day, zero embarrassment leaving the bins out.

Hotter slippers may not be trendy, but they're very good.

What do you mean by a long time? Slippers don't seem to last more than 9-12 months for me, whether cheap or expensive, just knocking about the house, not used outdoor for running marathons.

Their typical lifespan seems short to me, how long should one expect?

This. Had mine about 6 years now, not even slightly worn.

I don’t have smelly feet but anything I wear barefoot will eventually pong in a deep seated way where washing’s not going to work. I won’t notice but my wife has a superior sense of smell.

6 years!? smile. My wife would not allow me indoors.

My first pair of Lanner Ridge’s lasted 5 years of daily use, they never wore out but just started to look a bit tired after all the years. Im now two years into my second pair.

Really comfortable and good value for the money.

Got some Gumbies and they are great, super comfy, are machine washable and have chunky rubber soles so are technically outdoors proof too.
