I'm about to embark on my first journey into EvE Online this evening - is anyone else here a regular ?

Been playing on and off since launch. Currently playing but not in a corp (hence constantly broke )

I'm finding it boring - i cant seem to do anything good until i have enough money - and that means doing repetative mining !! Losing interest fast...

Have you tried doing agent missions or courier runs? Won't pay as much as mining at the moment but it will add a bit of variety.

If you want an instant fix and to feel like you're constantly doing something to progress then WoW is the better bet, if you can stick at EVE though it's probably the more limitless experience. I'm a WoWer though.

Lockstock, best way to get most out of this game is to join a good corp, i joined a good production corp who i mine with once a week, they have provided all my ships. also a good social aspect,

I tried doing some agent missions and it said that i didnt have enough cash to cover the collateral or something like that !? Basically i've tried doing anything other than mining and it wont let me for whatever reason...its a bit of a put off right now.

I've done the WoW thing already. Although i liked it i got frustrated in the later levels becuase they took a LOT longer to move up. Again, i lost interest and stopped playing...

well my current corp is RSDI red sun industries, they are mainly production and do require you help out with the corp mine but they dont ask alot an hour a week is the most i do. They bought me my cruiser and now they have bought me a mining barge which means even less time mining but more money made. plus there recruiting
