I had two amusing incidents at work today, had to really control the internal urge to giggle though! :hehe:

First one: Guy came in to buy condoms, handed them over and just as I was putting them in a bag I heard him say "Should I just stick it in here?". Well I wanted to piss myself but luckily he was just talking about the chip and pin machine! :hehe:

Second guy: Came in after shopping so had loads of bags etc. He had to sign a prescription so held his extra long french bread stick between his legs. Yes it had been a long and boring shift at work so the smallest (well it was extra long!) things made me want to giggle to keep sane!

Bunch of unwashed semi-gothic teenagers on day release from Reading festival taking a crate of beer in to the pub... and trying to sell it to the bar staff

and I thought I had a dirty mind...
I always knew pharmacists laughed at you behind your back, just like doctors and nurses, the stories they tell

anyway funniest thing at work today was a girl who spent ages trying to find something so when it got annoying I asked what she was looking for,
'a disk' is the reply,
so I think she means a floppy disk and inform her they are virtually extinct around here now. Then she says
'no the round ones with a hole in the middle',
so I reply in disbelief,
'you mean a CD?'
her
'yes thats the one'

cue much sniggering because she couldn't remember what a CD is called

and she's not even blonde where that thread about men being smarter...

ooo that reminds me of another guy who I totally embarrased today!

He was on the phone and seeing as he was still talking to them while asking for "canesten cream please" I assumed it was for his girlfriend as blokes usually do this when they have to buy it for a woman!

So I innocently ask would you like the internal or external and he just went bright red and said "I'll call you back Clive".
