2nd generation XF S (V6 Petrol) advice

Watching with interest, as they’re also on my radar.
I need a bigger car / family car, as I’ve inherited another teenager
and I’m familiar with (petrol) Jags. Last one (when married) was an XE S 380. Reliable, went like stink and handled extremely well. Think I just need a little more room, although another XE would certainly be doable, just…..

I had an XF 5.0 Portfolio V8 na (380bhp) for 2 1/2 years. Rare car only available to order in the UK as it was the standard USA market configuration. Loved it and probably would still have been in my possession but wife's arthritis meant she found it a problem getting in/out of. Did not have any issues while I had the car.

I do think the non-upgraded infotainment system looks hugely dated, and actually rather cheap, so the upgraded one would be my preference.
From what I can tell, the drivetrain is fairly reliable. I had a first generation XF S (diesel), and other than the DPF doing a lot of whingeing (my commute became much shorter after I’d bought it), it ate tyres and brakes. Everything else was marvellous.
