Good Nobility turn out at Bedford today
Discussion
Yet again I turn up at Bedford today to find I'm not alone on the Nobility front :-)
Steve with his M400 (used to have a 3R apparently until he took a ride in Joust's M400 earlier in the year), Alex in the infamous striped M12, and me in my humble 2.5. Note......all Blue :biglaugh:
As usual they provoked loads of attention.
Most interesting part of the day was watching a Saxo being driven at high speed, backwards over the big mound of earth at the end of the second straight. Thankfully driver and passenger fine.....Saxo less so.

What a great day on Friday, spent £25 on instruction and finally found the limits of the Noble, now I know what everyone is talking about. The first few sessions I was driving it like I drove the Chimaera, same style just a little quicker, slowly trying to work up to the limits, Steve came out so he'll probably vouch for that.
Went out with an instructor pushing all the time and WOW! This car GRIPS, aggresive turn in, aggresive out of the corners, and oh so adjustable in the corners. There's no way you could drive a Chimp or a Griff like this!
So this is what everyone is raving about!
Once again Bedford proved to be one of the best, if not the best trackday circuit in the country, hats off to J.P.
Nice to meet Steve and Simon, and Peter in the Tuscan.
I now need to find some new front discs and pads, oh and a new windscreen, see my post.

Great to meet you Simon and Alex, had a really good day out on Friday and i was really pleased with the new beast.
Got the old man to drive a few laps and apart from the odd err.. moment
we had a lot of fun and the car proved to be benign one moment and precise and adjustible the next. An amazing chassis I'm sure everyone will agree. The most noticeable differences between this and my 3r I think are mainly down to the new anti-roll bar. A little bit of understeer to let you know your entry speed is around about right then lovely neutrality with a bit of oversteer if you fancy it on the way out.. all easily gathered up with the improved steering
Alex your car (and Dan i'm sure will be pleased to know) was going beautifully and had loads of poke all driven very smoothly. I'm sure you were flying even faster after the tuition time
. With regard to your screen make sure you tell autoglass to be extra careful in transporting it. Two replacements were damaged in transit for my 3R leading to a 2 month wait.
As for you.. my bank manager has aked me to forward your details. I told him you lived at the end of your garden and wore an Indigo blue dress with silver wings.
