Hi Mike, I didn't know you'd bought Psychobert's car! Many apologies, but I certainly wasn't calling it at all - I didn't know about that prang. However, I do know about another one, involving a hire car, some wet roads, a traffic island and an - no I can't tell you the make of car he'd be too embarassed. I've seen his V8 today, it's great!:O

Hello Dave
Happy as larry with the old girl, haven't stopped beasting it yet, even better, I can't drive it with the roof up as I pulled a hinge off. Have managed to get some weird looks in the rain though.

Must ask Simon about his other encounter.

Hi, funnily enough I broke a roof hinge on mine after about 2 days as well. Not stopped me smiling though. It still fits - sort of! I've seen a thread on here where someone gave details of where they can be bought. Can't wait to get the clutch fixed as I'm tempted to go and sit in her and just listen to the engine, but I don't think the neighbours would be too happy! Also, I started a thread called parts catalogue or similar. This contains a link to a web site where you can find a down loadable PDF document that may be useful, Cheers, Dave

RS components do the roof catches fellas - only a couple of quid each.

Cheers Harry, my actual hinge is ok, just me being a little hamfisted caused a problem. I yanked the actual hinge, with two screws still screwed in out of the roof panel.

All I need to do is to put some larger screws in with some no nails behind it to solve the problem - Guess I am just holding off so I don't have to put the roof back on.

Petclub, ask Psycho about the advice he received on how that particular hire car handled approximately 24 hours before he had his "incident"....
