Irvine Welsh's Crime
Discussion
It's from a few years back but I don't remember it being on TV at the time but saw it on the STV Player / ITVX and thought I would give it a go. Glad I did as I thought it was pretty good and Dougray Scott was excellent in it as the lead DI with a special mention to Jamie Sives whose character is just mental. Ken Stott and John Simms also feature.

I've watched all the series and thoroughly enjoyed it although strange to see Brian McCardie the original Gillman from Filth turn up as a different cop.
Crime is basically a toned-down Filth unfortunately. Scott is a censored (by Irvine) version of the copper in Filth. Still watchable though.3 episodes in and series 2 seems a bit more Fith Lite than series 1 was.
Ray Lennox is at least a better copper that Bruce Robertson, mental side aside.
The others are much more Filth/comic book. Even Drummond is a different character.
The recurring politician seems turned up to 11 from series 1 too.
