Motowarway cruiser under £5k and finance settlement
Discussion
Hi all,
I now have to drive a lot to work and I'd rather not do it with my new a3 i acquired (previously used public transport) so I'd prefere an older vehicle, suitable for 100 mile round trip a day on the motorway. Budget is around £5k.
I'd prefer an automatic only because I've begun to hate the stop start traffic in peak hours but I would still consider a good manual. ULEZ would be ideal. I've been looking on autotrader but nothing really springs to mind. If anyone has any recommendations that would be helpful.
I've requested an early settlement on the a3 and was wondering if selling to a dealer would be the best thing or are their any options online where the best quote can be had?

Honda Accord. As a mile muncher that's more utility then fun in its job, you ideally want to spend as little as possible using it, hence the immortal Honda. You'll have to service it, put fuel in it and replace wear and tear items, and that's it. Its not exciting, it's not sexy, but it is probably the least trouble motoring you'll ever have in your life.
