Great artist. Just got better and better with age. What a legacy of music she leaves. RIP

Will never forget seeing her live - first in 1990 at the Chateau of Versailles, then in 2009 at the O2. Fantastic the first time, somehow even better the second time. RIP

A class act in everyway. Very sorry I never got to see her live. 'Simply the Best' R.I.P.

She was at her best with Ike - a very flawed and troubled man but a genius who ran their studio recordings and live act like a tsar.

We aren't going to see the likes of them again.

she lives and died 3 miles from me and people are stood outside her house, putting candles up and tying things to the gates.

the woman was a star but down-to-earth and very easy-going. She gifted her local community some Christmas lights that run for 3 miles along the main road every year.

ride free, Tina.
