S&S ISA & SIPP with one provider- 85k FSCS?
Discussion
I'm just having a re-jig of my personal pension and stocks and shares ISA. It's possible I may end up with both products supplied by one provider with a balance of over £85k. I have a couple of questions.
Are SIPPS covered by the FSCS, or is there another type of protection on personal pensions?
If the only cover available is the FSCS, then am I right to assume that if the worst were to happen, I'd only be covered for a total of £85k if I had an ISA and SIPP with a single provider?
Thanks

Generally funds inside a SIPP are held independently of the provider, therefore if a provider went under the funds should be unaffected.
