Roughly how long until I can pick up my new used car?

Hi there,

I have purchased a nearly new used car from a reputable dealer. They only got the car in stock on 15th May as part of someone’s part-exchange.

The only hold up now is the dealership still doesn’t have the in-trade V5 from the DVLA yet which was sent off when the car was brought in to the dealer ship as a part-ex.

Any best guesses as to when they will receive this so I can figure out roughly when I might be able to collect the car?

The v5 doesn’t get sent off when out in to trade so it’s either been lost or there’s a private plate involved.
Postal applications for either generally take two or three weeks

The reg is WR22HNA. It doesn’t look like there is a private plate involved. Does this mean the person who sold it to the dealership has lost the V5?
