Hello

I want to see whether such a thing exists: Basically a Toyota GR86 (speed, coupe, price etc) with a sunroof and roof rack mounting points... Which isn't a BMW 2 series

The only thing I can think to get close is an older Porsche 911 but that comes with running costs galore, and aren't exactly cheap to buy in the first place either!

The Mercedes C-Coupe and Lexus RC are both big, heavy cruisers. Also, are automatics. I'm thinking more, manual sports car type of driving.
The TT is a reasonable shout, although I've never seen a current model with a sun-roof?

Or forgo the roof & get a manual M4:

Personally I'd buy the nicest manual M3 I could find:

Or get the M2 as that's the only car that ticks all of your wishlist smile

I often have similar thoughts, if only the GT86/GT86 had a hatchback then it would be as practical as a hot hatch but more fun.

Go older? Z3 M Coupe or LHD 3.0. Not cheap now but you wouldn't lose a penny on one. I believe an E39 roof rack fits and many have a sun roof.

Or how about a Porsche 968?
