Normandy France: Hotel recommendations?

Planning a trip to see the Normandy beaches and WW2 historic sites in July.

Need to book a hotel that's central to all the major sites, so each day we can just ride off for the day and return.

Anyone been lately, any locations or hotel recommendations that would suit bikes ? (as in safe parking etc)

The Grand Hotel in Cabourg looked nice, but we only had a few drinks there

There may be some good ones in Honfleur but that can get silly busy

La Dilligence in Honfleur is in the centre but with secure parking in a central courtyard that rooms all open out on to.

Its ideal if you want to walk out for a drink and dinner in the evenings.

Taking an interest in this as we are doing something similar at the back end of June.

Search for La Tringale, SE of Caen and run by an english biker couple. It's in the middle of nowhere but they can supply very good food and have a sensibly priced bar. Under cover parking for about 10 bikes...

We've stayed in the Churchill Hotel, Bayeux, a few times. Lovely place and the bikes are tucked away around the rear of the hotel. Recommended.

We stayed at the Ibis central in Caen as it has secure underground parking. OK hotel but is joined to the Mecure that looked nicer. Close to loads of bars and restaurants and easy to visit all the sites from there.

Normandy Beach B&B in Arromanches, with the caveat I've not been for some years. Secure parking, village itself is a D Day beach, and pretty central.
