Dust! Any quick easy ways to safely remove it?

Good morning,

The change in the weather has meant its dry enough to clean the car (yay!) but also dry enough that and dust in the air falls on it and its dirty again in no time at all. Sigh....

Are there any quick ways to remove that dust safely? I really don't want to do another "maintenance" wash but don't want to damage the coatings or paint.

Any tips greatly received.

Maybe consider a resin vessel, hooked up to the pressure washer you could give it a blast and not worry about the water spotting when dry.

Not a cheap inital outlay but very good, I only use mine for window cleaning duties really but did buy for the cars as well.

One of those leaf blower type dryers? I've seen people whip out feather dusters at shows too.. Personally I just use some quick detailer and a microfiber and resign myself to the idea that I'll need to machine polish it now and again.

I hear you, on my older cars, I'd be happy to do just that, however, this one has sections of PPF and the other areas are ceramic coated.

I think the No rinse is the quick solution and had I
spotted earlier, a quick detailer and microfiber would have done the trick but it's dusty enough for me not consider Meguires Waterless wash.

Problem is I'm still very much in the honeymoon phase with the car!

OK, this stuff is AMAZING!!!

I think you need to use a bit of common sense when its a viable option but I was really happy with the results.

Mix up 9 ltrs per the instructions, put a Litre in a Pressure Spray, liberally covered the car, let it dwell for a short time, then go over the panels with a mitt and product. Gently go down the panels and voila! Dirt comes off!

Had to use bug remover for the bugs but that came off very easily with the mitt and product.

It won't replace a maintenance wash but as an in between its perfect and more importantly, quick!
