Tiz good, good gentlemanly racing going on, fantastic game that needs alot of practice to get right, but incrdible realisim, you need 1.2.01 copy of grand prix legends (there is an update free for older versions) download vroc software to link up, then upto 20 can race at any given time! do it, let's get something new going on this forum! thanks for comments on wheels, there BK racing items 16" & 17", had um two years now, still like the looks of um, very similar to the wheels fitted to Dons latest addition Boxter S (looks nice Don)

got it all working but I'm still utterly shit at it

Now the winter's coming and I won't be so busy, I may well spend some more time refining my technique..

I don't mind having a go at our own VROC league, but I really don't wanna jump in with the big boys and spoilers that are out there..

Count me in.
I sort of know what I'm doing, but being on the keys instead of a wheel all the grown-ups get upset when I veer randomly in corners and keep saying:

56k is fine, yhou'll get a bit of blinking but not too bad, game is available form wwww.papy.com, or most game shops SHOULD stock it, althogh it's getting on a bit now, a playstation type game pad I find is the easiest pick up and play type tool, trouble with wheels etc is srtting then up on ya desk etc, PC world, Curry etc do a joystick / gamne pad called the Thrustmaster, oh er, which has dual analogue sticks like the Playstation seems to work well.

No, but I have a hefty pc with a GeForce 3 Ti500 and a fast 600k connection so should be able to without ease.

Sorry to ask the obvious again, but what wheel do ya reccomend - is the Logitech F1 any good, as I'd like to use it with me PS2 for GT3.

Excellent, you know it make sense Rodney, if we all name a time through this thread for next week (or earlier for some). In the meantime it'll give everyone a chance to get all the appropriate software etc set up, and get some practice in too, maybe we can discuss preference on tracks too? what about you CarZee?
