Just placed an order for a new Homura. Could any of you guys advise the correct oil spec\viscosity recommend fully synthetic oil for the 2.0 skyactiv G used in the 2022/3 unit?
I’ve been sort of going round in circles online trying to gleam info for at least a ltr bottle to top up initially.
Thanks

I think it's what we would call a Mazda 2.

Mazda Original oil Supra 0W-20 for temps down to -35c or Mazda Original oil Ultra 5W-30 for temps down to -30c.

If you're not using Mazda brand oil use API SN or higher or ACEA A5/B5, both with viscocity listed above.

Thank you for confirming, I had intended to pick up a Ltr of Mazda 0W20 Supra-X when I take collection of the car, for top up. Would be interesting to know who manufactures the oils and package for Mazda.
I have a VW GTi and have learned that the VW branded oils are actually Shell Helix, even packaged exactly the same……
Again thank you!
