Exeter to London

I’m picking up my new motor from Porsche Exeter tomorrow and have the afternoon to drive it home.

Weather looks good, kids are back in school and I’m keen to enjoy the opportunity to stretch the legs of the new wheels.

Any recommendations of some decent roads along the way back that are near(ish) the A303??

Could turn off the A303 onto the A350 head towards Warminster pick up the A36 towards Salisbury then turn off onto the B390 and head across Salisbury Plain then pick the A303 back up at Amesbury

You can come off A303 at Mere, head for Longbridge Deverill, then Warminster bypass to B390, nice bit of road.

I would expect Glastonbury will be starting to get built so avoid going near if you want some free flowing roads.

GT4 - great drive home. Dropped off the A303 at Gillingham and went down to Sixparnny Handle and then back up to A303 via Andover.

Bloody impressed with the car
