Hi
Does anyone know if it is possible to obtain the extension of a CCJ beyond 6 yrs under the Limitation Act please- if there are extenuating circumstances?
Thanks

If you have obtained a CCJ before the limitation period expires, then limitation does not matter. You need to enforce CCJ and ask for more time if needed

Thank you but I have received a letter from the London County Court customer team stating " Any new application to the court is likely to attract a court fee.I should add that under the Limitation Act that any action to recover any sum, recoverable by virtue of any enactment shall not be brought after the expiration of six years from the date on which the course of action accrued"

this suggests to me I would not be able to get an extension ...?
