Display cars confirmed for PH25 Anniversary Party

We've made our list and checked it twice - now 200 display cars will grace Bicester Heritage on August 12th

There’s already a lot to look forward to on August 12 at Bicester Heritage. As you'll likely know by now, we’re bringing together our largest event ever to celebrate our 25th anniversary in style at the historic former WW2 RAF bomber station in Oxfordshire.

Our outdoor cinema with show some of our favourite PH videos and premiere our PH25 best performance car of the last 25 years grand finale. We’re being joined by some of the very best automotive businesses in the UK including Alfaholics, Caterham Cars, Auto Finesse, MST Cars, eBay, Radical and Charles & Dean to name but a few.

And now that we’ve confirmed our 200 display cars that will decorate the hangar, paddock and technical site, we couldn’t be more excited. The curated displays will celebrate our five main PH25 categories (sports cars, hot hatches, saloons, track cars and supercars), as well as our largest congregation of Readers’ Cars ever and a whole host of exotic and rare cars.

On the technical site, we’ll have every generation of Lotus Elise and Exige, a broad selection of the very best Porsches, TVRs, and your favourite Ferraris, Lamborghinis and McLarens from the last 25 years. Naturally, we’ll have a wide range of Audi RS models, BMW M cars and Mercedes AMGs too.

The paddock will be taken over by restomods, classics and even more supercars including all three generations of Ford GT/GT40, a Mercedes McLaren SLR, Porsche 911 993 RS, Delorean DMC-12, a V10-engined BMW E30 M3, a Subaru Impreza 22B and so much more. Elsewhere, the hangar will be brimmed with some of your favourite Readers’ Cars, which will be a rare opportunity to see so many in the flesh. We’ll have gary71’s Porsche 911T, claytonjones’ Volkswagen Lupo GTI, scottos’ BMW 2002Tii and tuffer’s phenomenal Truckosaurous.

And last but not least, our performance car parking area will be open to everyone with a ticket to the event on a first come first served basis on the day, for all of you driving performance cars. We might have a few other surprises tucked up our sleeve, too... Tickets are now limited, so grab yours today!

Applied a while back but first got told I wasn't successful, was sitting waiting for the LSD being fitted to the 140 on Tuesaday and got an email saying there was a space available if I would like it biggrin Don't think I have ever replied so fast! Will be bringing the Motocompo along in the back as well, I'm sure they won't mind thumbup Radwood at Bicester was the perfect place for it last year so looking forward to coming back.

Yup cloud9

As with the Singer Porsches, photos really don’t do justice to the RWB. It’s utterly bonkers, but somehow just looks right.

Indeed, far more interesting than the usual suspects. The last CC coffee run I went to for example felt like about 70% of the turnout was (modern) Porsches with so many GT3s/GT4s with nothing but colour to differentiate them. Felt like I was walking past my local OPC. biglaugh

The general car park will be equally as interesting with so many cars rocking up so I look forward to that too!

Worth checking out the build story on Sam's Detailing. Definitely not the purist's cup of tea and I wasn't sure either when I saw the reciprocating saw, but it's turned out really well.

I felt the same when I went to the one at Donnington last year. They were all together too; I’ve never seen so many RS cars together and it was very easy to get blasé about them.
