Speed Awareness Course - In Person vs Online
Discussion
Hi all,
Got a NIP the other day and have been offered a SAC.
Last time I did one it was in person and I quite enjoyed it weirdly, some good interaction, nice to compare stories with a few others (and marvel at the extraordinary lack of knowledge of some).
This time I have the choice of doing it online or in person. My gut says online - although there is no mention of price. I assume it will be the same or else everybody would do it online. Anecdotal evidence suggests that online courses are shorter (3 hours), and it does mean I don't have to go anywhere and can at least sit on my sofa with a decent coffee.
Anybody done one online? Is it the obvious choice?

12 months ago, I opted for the reduced time of the online course as I had just started a new job in the busy season. Sure, you don’t get the peer group entertainment value (which was worth it several years ago when online wasn’t available), but the learning is still good. It depends on whether you like people enough to surrender at least half a day vs a couple of hours online.
