Feel sorry for you mate. I have found myself in almost the same situation a few times over the last year, but luckily have managed to keep hold of her. Chin up - at the end of the day, you owned one

So you must have had a conversation along the lines of:

You: "Ok I'm replacing the Cerbera with a nice sensible Ford, a Ford Escort in fact, nice sensible family car, ok its a two door, but it has a nice big boot"
Wife:"But why is it called an Escort Cosworth, and why has it got an enormous wing on the back?"
You:"Errrm, well Cosworth is just the trim package, has nicer seats etc."
Wife:"So why does it have that blooming great wing on the back?"
You:"Good lord, is that the time, sorry honey in a but of a rush, talk later"

Gulp, well as long as she doesn't stray into high enough RPM for the boost to kick in she will hopefully be none the wiser.
