Ah LOMAC... first flight sim I bought for my first gaming PC. The PC more than exceeded the recommended spec on the back of the game box (when games came in boxes!) but yet I couldn't run it anywhere near all the eye candy... Half tempted to see if it will install and run now, almost two decades later...

I played TFX back in the day and then LOMAC.

I have been wanting a PC gaming set up for years, but couldn’t have one because of lack of space. That all changed last summer. Now that I have one, I don’t really have enough time to invest in study level modules to learn them properly. I did get proficient in the A-10CII though.

For anyone with more than a passing interest in the F-15E I thoroughly recommend the 10% True podcast. Particularly anything with Starbaby as a guest. The link I have pasted is an in depth look at an F-15E strike on a SAM. It has plenty of scope footage from the WSO.

You get “A free copy of Be Afraid of the Dark by Steve Davies about the inception, development, and operational history of the F-15E up to 2002 of a book by Steve Davies” as part of the F-15E preorder/early access. Steve Davies is the host of the 10% True podcast.
