Negan and Maggie, Walking Dead

The last time I saw The Walking Dead, Negan as a nasty feker who had horribly killed members of Rick's mob.

I'd got bored after seeing so many seasons and felt it was going nowhere.

I tuned back in for an episode last year and Maggie and Negan appear to be together and he seemed to have gone soft.

I can't be bothered to watch more episodes so can someone precis what happened for them to get together.

Negan was bad. Then not so bad. Then was good. Then pretended to be bad. But was actually good. Was good for a bit. Maggie came back (she left for a bit), Maggie didn't like good Negan (was Maggie bad?), Negan left, possibly went bad but no was good. Maggie came round and accepted him. Although I don't believe they are "together" in that sense.

I gave up when Rick left. Kinda bizarre that Negan is now a good guy given all the evil he did including murdering Glen (Maggie’s love).

Same here! Just needless violence porn. Had been getting more uncomfortable with it for a while before but that was the last straw.

The viewing figures make for interesting reading - around 17 million viewers at its peak, down to just over 1 million for most of the final season. I gave up at the point they returned to Atlanta, since it dawned on me they'd spent about 5 seasons just to walk in a big circle.

OMG, that farm season was like one of those dreams when you have to go back to school for 5 years.

Fear the walking dead was quite impressive imho the nuclear submarine episodes and etc.. The world beyond was a bit childish but the last few episodes were good as there was a good connection about Rick and the first episode (doctor in the underground space) talking to French scientists and how they ended up with worse mutations...
