Bolt taxi in the uk - help

Hi,

i'm trying to use the bolt taxi app in the uk.

I keep getting card verification failure when trying to add a card (it tries to charge 1 pound).

I approve the payment in my bankign app, return to the bolt app, and the and the bolt apop says verification failed, even though it was approved successfully in the bolt app.

Am i missing something?

I can use a credit card (in the same way as uber?

Can i pay cash instead i this doesn't work?
