make a good classic better

as it says on the tin - take a good classic and improve it for your tastes...
I guess I'll start by giving my idea of a great Interceptor
Take one Interceptor (in perfect bodily condition!) and swap in a Hellcat lump, A8 (and possibly the entire running gear of a Trackhawk). Add in modern brakes, modern HVAC and heated/cooked seats...
I suspect that that could be a perfect Jensen

X100 Jaguar XKR.
Out of the box it is a mish-mash. To heavy and slushy to be a sports car. Not quite a supercar. Big wheels and harder suspension make it a worse GT than the XK8.
Lets make a muscle car instead. A propper British bruiser.
Add a manual gearbox, or if thats too much work, flappy paddles on the gearbox and make the changes faster. (The ZF6 is computer controlled so this is possible)
Another 50-100Hp which was possible on the 4.2 V8
A Limited slip diff.
Louder exhaust.
The annoying thing is they actually made this car but didn't put it into production. Shame.
