Funny advert from Tonic Weight loss Surgery

So there's this advert on TV for the above company and in it people are saying why they chose to go ahead with weight loss surgery and some woman actually says "I did it to enjoy long walks" - does anyone else here find that a tad strange? If she enjoyed long walks she wouldn't be overweight in the first place. Meanwhile I am working on belly fat myself, though I won't want surgery.

I think people who are overweight are holding mental illness, I mean if it gets to the point you are creating physical disability to do something as simple as take a long walk, something maleficent is going on there, right?
