Apologies in advance if this subject has previously been discussed.
With SCP's now asking that you log on to their website to view the photographic evidence of your alleged offence, what is the legal posistion on the use of digital photos? I had always been led to believe, that as Digital Images are easy to "Tamper" with, they could not be used as evidence.
Do the SCP operate some security system that makes their images impossible to alter & as such legal evidence?
Have they ever been challenged on this point.

How difficult would it be to superimpose a different speed onto an image - none at all. With digital numbers, you can easily make a 73 into a 93 - about a minutes work on photoshop.

I imagine they do - although I don't know for certain...

Pretty easy to take and embed a checksum in a digital image to make it tamper-proof

The Scamerati in Australia have found this VERY difficult. See previous threads in here
