My son is just under 2 and we're looking to set something up to build funds to use towards uni at 18 or starting out with a home at 21 etc.

I recall my own mum having several small policies that paid out when I was 18 and wondered what the good people of PH recommend these days?

Looking at nothing huge , £50 a month or suchlike.

I'm not an IFA or financial guru, but I would have thought a low charge Vanguard style product would build up nicely over 16 years of regular contributions.

Hi Mondeo,

A Junior ISA (JISA) is sheltered from all taxes and can be accessed at age 18. You can contribute up to £9k per annum.
