Collected car today from approved repairer ( number damage other party paid )

I asked what was the most crashed car.

Immediate reply - Taycan. He said they accelerate like xxx of a shovel and crash a lot !

That is interesting.

EVs in general are bringing a lot of power to people that have little experience of performance cars. The Taycan offers huge grip, but the laws of physics still apply and it’s so flat that there isn’t much to telegraph where the limit is.

Maybe people are also doing stupid things in traffic with them too?

I'm on a lot of Taycan FB groups and forums etc, I don't think other than that old video of someone hitting the accel. instead of the brake on their driveway that was doing the rounds that I've seen or heard of any Taycan crashes. Let alone them being the most crashed cars!?

That’s a good point. I haven’t come across much. Someone did go into the back of mine in stop start traffic, but all I had to do was replace the reversing camera thankfully.

I can’t speak as to its accuracy - I just asked the question whilst I was waiting for them to clean it !

The one that fell off the mountain road and delayed the start of the first TT race this year was well and truly crashed. Perhaps there is some truth in it after all.

Leased as company cars for the BIK benefit in 90% + of sales.

Powerfully built company directors but a bit hard up, bad divorce, big maintenance, kids etc. Need all the tax savings even if its all the gear and no idea
