in the classifieds? Like any TVR fan I keep an eye on the classifieds and all of a sudden there seems a surge of "mine is better because..". I know these arent always easy cars to sell but I hate reading "mine doesnt have those horrid bits like xyz like most of the others you will look at". Almost like watching those on the corporate ladder putting knives in each others backs to see who can get to the top first.
If its got a good spec, it'll be easy to see that by singing the praises of the car without reference to others IMO.

And just because a car has certain 'mods' does not mean it is any better than one which has'nt. You could argue the opposite, and one which has had everything possible done to it in order to squeeze out more power and make it 'look better?', would suggest to me that it has been driven 'hard', tampered with too much, and i would leave it well alone.

Unless you are doing something so obviously "Right!" that is a no brainer! (Ooh and that it IS done by people that know what they ARE doing!).
