Hi Guys.. in the the process of buying a Gallardo and need to know when the uprated clutches were applied to these cars! The car is registered july 2004 and has covered 5500m with no clutch change yet!! any advice guys thanks...

Thats not really helping mate... but have negotiated a better deal! took off another 5k which should cover the clutch just in case...

Hope this helps Nick, check the vin number.. clutch upgrade around 1400 and 2100 numbers! good luck

Gallardo manual is actually on its third updated clutch. A, B and C clutch packs.

It seems that some original cars had problems ( mine was changed at 2K but others go on for 15-20K with no problems.

Given the year of your car its likely to have the first clutch so be advisedto save for a new one- although if you buy it from an authorised agent and its a UK car they will do it for free.

Otherwise its about 3-4K
