Porsche 718 tyres
Discussion
Had 2 Boxsters before - 718 (2020 PDK) is my third and newest.
Looking at tyres I came across https://www.tyreleader.co.uk/tyres-advices/porsche... (talks about N0, N1 etc) which I already knew but also https://www.tyrereviews.com/Article/Porsche-OE-N-R... which adds more fun/confusion by saying (for 718 cars) I should be looking for NB0, NB1 etc.
Any views on this please (which is correct - N0 or NB0)?
I cant find anyone selling NB-x tyres, and come to that, very few websites seem to list the N rating in any case.
TBH - I am close to ignoring the N rating altogether and just putting what I consider the best tyre (dont want to start that contentious issue!) on it.
The 3 main contenders seem to be Pirelli Pzero, Michellin PS, and Goodyear Eagle F1.
I doubt Porsche bother keeping up with the latest Michellin (as an example) PS2, 3, 4, 5 etc, so looking for N rated may mean you dont get the best tyre.

If you have a Porsche warranty, call a Porsche Centre or Porsche GB Customer services for clarification.
If you don't have a Porsche warranty and unlikely to take one out buy what you like but be aware that the tyre profile can be subtly different. Have seen an issue with an Audi where the standard size tyre fouled on the suspension but the brand specific A0 version did not, only case I know of so low risk in my book.
