Long shot but don’t suppose any of our Scottish contributors have a Dornbleuth? Very much falling in love and considering a purchase but before I do so would ideally see one in the flesh!

See them now and again on Sales Corner on TZ. I too really like the look of them, very well made and highly regarded by those who know watches.

Colleague of mine has one and it’s a very pretty thing indeed. I think they look great, wear well and are decent venue for money too.

Only reason I don’t have one is they aren’t really my style.

I follow them on Instagram, definitely something I'm also interested in.

I’ve had my 99.1 for 13 years and I love it. I only had to wait a few months for it but the waiting lists are longer now and the prices have gone up quite a bit but are still pretty reasonable for low volume, made to order watches.

I have more valuable watches, but still reserve my Dornbleuth for special occasions.

My grail watch. The level of craftsmanship involved is off the scale an does more for me than any Rolex, Patek or AP watch ever will.

Absolutely stunning.

Planning on getting one to celebrate my 50th in 2026, should I already be getting my order in to avoid disappointment?

They’re quoting 14 months at the minute so you’re not far off!!

I too love the craftsmanship and the whole process behind selecting everything and watching it come together.

At this price point (<£7k) is there anything else I should be considering? I wear a gmt ii daily so looking for a weekend / special occasion watch.

Lovely watches and wonderful company to deal with.

3 friends commissioned watches and collected from Dirk in 2019 - fantastic experience.

2 Quintus Centre Second and a 99 Centre Second

Blimey. Be interested in hearing the spec you asked for to get to that price.

At that level, drive over, pick it up from the factory(they apparently give you a friendly tour) and turn it into a mini driving holiday with the watch's box safely stored in the glovebox on the channel crossing... perhaps....

I like almost everything about these (the H1 model specifically) but having noticed the horrible cramped spacing between the lines of text on the dial, I now can't unsee it, and it ruins the look of the watch, for me.

I have a 99.5 and a 99.6 Mondphase - lovely watches and a great buying experience.

I think I waited 6-9 months for the first one in 2019 and a similar length of time in 2021 for the Mondphase.

It’s so great to be able to choose the specific components of your watch and to have bespoke engraving inside the case,
