I hope to be collecting this BAC Mono from The Ashtree Collection later in the month. Never driven one! More to follow shortly but to say I’m excited is an understatement.

Awesome! As a lightweight track car owner already, one of these is firmly at the the top of my bucket list, congrats! Looking forward to seeing more photos once it is picked up!

Collected the BAC Mono yesterday from The Ashtree Collection in Shrewsbury. They were a pleasure to deal with. The four hour drive home to Surrey was a buzz. Thank goodness for a dry spell.

Even if you’re used to special cars, the attention and reactions that must get when people see it on the road must be something else.

Christ on a bike, and I thought my car was "extreme"!

Congrats! A car I'd love to experience.

How did you get on, having not sat in one before collection? I saw a program on BAC a few weeks ago that showed them custom moulding the seats and steering wheel for the first owners, and did wonder what options subsequent owners would have (if required).

One of these overtook me once with an Ariel Atom not far behind it - It was like being overtaken by two space ships hehe

First track day in the Mono will be next Monday at Bedford Autodrome. Mercifully, it looks like the day will be sunny and dry. I’m going to be joined by four other Mono owners and their cars as well as BAC themselves who are sending some technical support. Should be fun.

My car has a standard seat (no issues with leg room since I’m only 5’10” but the cockpit is a pretty tight fit around my shoulders) and standard steering wheel (so no issues fitting my hands around a customised one).

Ah, so what we saw on TV was an optional extra. Good to know. Hope you’re enjoying the new steed! smile

Did you park this outside the Halfway Bridge on the Petworth road? Surely can't be many round here.

Congrats on the new car - it looks superb. Do these have some form of nose lift or how do they do on speed bumps etc? I am tempted by one but have lots of speed humps near home. Cheers

Saw you at Bedford, didn’t see your post on here beforehand unfortunately..

We were in the little silver S1 Elise, great day on track we thought. Good mix of cars and everyone was behaving courteously out there.

How did you get on with the Mono?

They looked absolutely brilliant through the tight sections!

One of the other ones there I captured
