Bigger car

Recent new additions to the family and the need to take half the house on holiday got me looking for a new car. Currently use a Hyundai Tucson as the main family car thought the sante fe would be bigger but looking at the boots not noticeably bigger. So looking for inspiration.

General requirements, budget, must have accessories?

I've got a current shape Tucson and a partner who also seems to necessitate taking half of the house with her each time we head away for a week. The Tucson does a good job of swallowing all that we need, however that's likely because the back seats aren't needed for kids.

I occasionally borrow the MIL's 540i estate (G31) and it's a lovely car, the boot seems to be rather cavernous and it struggles with practically nothing.
If the budget is more modest then I'd be looking at a Superb Estate

Should have added those in looking at budget 30k, petrol and only other real requirement is reversing cameras but seem pretty standard now.

Wouldn't an Octavia estate be big enough? vRS version if you want more power. More boot space than most SUVs.

This is a great option - will cost you less than £1000 all in (if all brand new), and means you don't haul around lots of empty boot space.

Even much less than this. I bought brand new aero bars, locks and Thule 450l box for less than £500. It's all on a 7 seater too.
