A mate of mine is looking at buying a 360M F1 and he told me that the thottle pedal has what appeared to be a fair bit of travel before the car moves forward from stationary.

Is this normal? Does it suggest that anything needs looking at?

Thanks, Phil

The F1 software allows the clutch to "slip " to get a smooth pull-away. Earlier cars rev higher on pull-away, hence the problems with burnt out clutches !

You can adjust the sensitivity to your requirements with the software via the SD2.

Hope this helps...T.

Non-red 360's were what my friend was after, so yours didn't make the shortlist 360stimo - sorry.
Anyway, he's done the deal on a silver 360M F1 with tubi exhaust, and will probably be joining pistonheads v soon.

Thanks for the answers guys - very useful

Now I'm back off to my TVR forums where I belong!
