Car hifi head unit repair

[Jollyclubhf]

Hi all. Not sure if this is the right section or not to post in but can anyone help me please?... I'm looking to get a head unit replaired. It's an older tape deck for the 90s and is specific to me my car originally. Does anyone know anyone that would be able to repair it? It powers up but certain functions don't work anymore.. Oh and the original manufacture doesnt want to know anymore.. Thanks

A 90 tape player
Probably allmost nobody going 5o repairing them these days

Best bet would be to find somebody who repairs household equipment see if they are willing to take a look hopefully something like a failed capacitor

There's an old boy runs a place called The Radio Shop in Portsmouth, walking in there is like stepping back in time.
I reckon he'd be worth a call.
