I have a bag of accumulated foreign currency from the last 35 years. I just want to give the whole lot to some charity with minimal bother. Is there any high street bank or charity shop that will take it? I prefer forces or animal charities.

Thanks

I'd suggest just doing a search of your preferred charities to see if they accept old foreign currency.
Alternatively, there's this company: https://www.leftovercurrency.com/charity/
Not an endorsement or recommendation, though (and I have no idea what cut they take).

I expect they take a cut of the exchange rate. That site looked great initially as I assumed I could just post them the lot, but it seems you have to list each item you have... I have 35 years worth of all sorts.
I think Sainsburys Bank allow you to drop of cash and they'll donate to the British Legion which would suit me. I just want to dumnp it and run, not hang around whilst someone counts it and gives me a receipt etc.
