Tempting fate.....
Discussion
Just as a change from all the 'I've got a problem' threads;
had my Cerb for about 10 weeks now, and it's six weeks since I posted having received it back from the dealer after some warranty work. What's gone wrong? Nothing, nada, zilch, bugger all. It just seems to get better and better every time I drive. Consumption ranges from 10 mpg :evil: to 20 mpg :angel: and I don't care if petrol reaches £10/gallon, I'll still be out there. Never have I done so many miles in pursuit of a loaf of bread :laugh:
High points? The noise, obviously, the acceleration, and the feeling you get when you get out, walk away, and just HAVE to sneak a look back.
Low points? Nah, can't think of any.
Well, that's bollocksed that up. Don't suppose it'll start tomorrow now......

I am at 3 years now & i have been let down only the once, a snapped throttle cable, the engine was still running & would have limped me home, very slowly
I can honestly say, the car has been unbelievable, it does'nt have an easy life with about a dozen track days a year, does the family hack thing, visits relatives on the east coast every month & there's still time for Sunday cruises & the odd night out round town!
I really shudder to think what i shall replace it with

I think I've sussed it! Look at our profiles; all bright colours! Two yellows, an orange and a fluoro purple. They must be 'happy' colours!
Maybe it's something to add to the list of things to check for when you're looking for a Cerb. Service history? Check. Clutch done? Check. Sympathetic owner? Check. Happy colour? Check.

You could be on to something there...

Another happy owner here too
Only had starter motor go on me, and the car was sat at home so not too much of and issue. (oh and some blown cats replaced under warranty). Had for over a year now so not bad going. Just had 24K service and nothing wrong other than it needed some new rear pads, so very happy
Have a bright blue so I guess fairly happy

Abso-bloody-lutely typical. Well, I started the thread, so I kind of expected it. Went out this morning, switched on the wipers to get rid of the dew, and what happens? They crawl, snail-like, halfway across the screen, and stop. Prodded the wash and wipe buttons a few times, wipers went mental for a bit, then parked themselves and now won't do anything. Better try the search button. Ho hum

Mine did that a few weeks ago, I think because I hadn't used them for a while. It might fix itself (say he hopefully)
