Detachable Tow Bar. Why Bother? ££
Discussion
Detachable towbar every time for me. Had them on multiple cars and much prefer the ability to "clean up" the rear of the car aesthetically when I'm done with towing. The other annoyance for me is always skinning my shins on a towbar when it's in place.
My new MAN TGE camper has a fixed towbar (flange style) and really, really annoys me in terms of getting in the way of everything.

Fixed on mine. Well it’s detachable but I was never given the key to detach it with!
Yes I crack my shins on it occasionally but can also reverse it against the wall and know the tailgate can’t be opened.
normally a key number on the barrel. Worth buying and spending a few weeks dousing the pins and barrel with gt85 so you can remove. Yes I crack my shins on it occasionally but can also reverse it against the wall and know the tailgate can’t be opened.
