Following on from the “jeans” discussion…

For me: Daily. I have about one million, mostly car or music related, but some “where I’ve been themed. Also some nerdy space or movie ones, plus I’m a big fan of surf-style such as No Fear, Old Guys Rule, Weird Fish.

Once a week, all sports brands.
Must be 30+ years since I've worn a band T and 20 since a car/bike brand.

Every day, don't own any polo's and have 1 shirt I bought for a wedding reception the other month.

I'm big into graphic t shirts, skate/streetwear stuff/branded, although I have a hard time getting them/ones/brands i like in the UK nowfrown I have several simple logo tees but that's only really because I couldn't get any graphic tees and I wanted to prolong the life of them.

I wear a load of Ts and sweats from 1 of 100 ethical Ts which are brilliant. Mostly limited to 100 and tie in with books, music, djs and artists.
They are brilliant.

Some of mine. This is the back of them but they are cracking designs. Here’s a wee political one released last year.

But tbh I mostly wear old crap as I’m out with dogs when I come home. So tend to wear old tweeds, shirts and sweats.
My neighbour commented recently when I was going out that she had never saw me in anything but old minging gear. She’s the same , although they are loaded, so her old crap is worth fortunes.

Tees and polos all the time. Cheap ones. I string them out for years but after the first hole/unwashable stain they're demoted to the "work" drawer and end life solid with paint, mastic and silicone. Today's made me smile, some years back when it was relevant:

Every day.

I have about 250 band and festival t-shirts. I used to ‘merch’ at every gig I went to, but have wound it back to ‘only if I like the design’ these days.

I still buy one for every festival I go to. I like it as a form of record, and it’s often a talking point when I meet people. One of my best pals is a Londoner I met in Austin, Texas at a festival where we were both wearing the identical Reading Festival t-shirt from a few weeks previous.

Pretty much every day. Nearly all plain in assorted colours. The one im wearing now has a series one land rover print on. Got a few xmas type joke ones - for xmas only, obv. A weird fish blackadder pun one. A "built in the fifties, original and unrestored" one
Some old motor club tees, now relegated to painting/gardening.

Every day.

Normally plain black base layer breathable types as I do a lot of walking.

For sleeping I have an extensive collection of knackered old and baggy band t-shirts. Normally it'll be Motorhead (No Sleep 'ti Hammersmith/bedtime hehe).

I only wear button up collared shirts (unbuttoned over a t-shirt) when hiking to provide a bit of protection from the sun. Never owned a 'formal' shirt and never will.

The right neck? Too fat/too thin? Too long/too short? Genuinely never heard of someone having the wrong neck for a t-shirt.
