Amongst other things...

Why is it that any sentence beginning with the word "amongst" ends up being spelled with a lower case "a"?

amongst other things this is just such a sentence. I definitely typed a capital "A".

And yet the title bar of a thread accepts the "A".

amongST - if you type it all capitals on the ST is capatalised

I assume its something to do with the swear filter
spotting the ****after the A.

Similar to the treatment S c u n t h o r p e gets so there is some consistency

Like many things there are ways round the issue

Formatting tags inside a word like Scunthorpe I knew about but the formatting tags in place without actually formatting anything is a clever one I hadn't seen before so thanks for the lesson
