I thought i read in GTPP tht JZM have a joint venture with Manthey over here with some of their products - give them a shout:

JZ Machtech in Kings Langley are the dealer for the Manthey kit in the UK
They did the upgrade on my MKII, and on Zanzibars (ph'er) MKI.
This will make a difference, but i would say more noticable on the road rather than ont the track, as the biggest increase in power is lower down the rev range.

AmD do 400bhp normally aspirated in a GT3.

They did the yellow ex-press car GT3 Mk2 with results provable on dyno (401bhp) and on track (quicker than a GT3RS at Bedford allegedly!).

This car is owned by a guy called Russell, and i know him quite well, i think his car is pushing just over 400+bhp, and goes very well.
Just to let you know, mine dyno'ed at 417.6 bhp 3x weeks ago, so the Manthey figures are conservative.

I have Driven both AMD and JZM conversions. Both are good but the JZM car is quicker through better chasis balance. I overtook the AMD car at Bedford driving Russel's Zanzibar JZM converted MK1 which has engine and suspension upgrades. The AMD car is certainly not as quick as a well sorted GT3RS, a good 2 - 3 seconds slower around Bedford. If you are serious about track work, look at the JZM engine upgrade with the Parr motorsport suspension package, it gives more ultimate potential. I have driven the Parr engine upgrade at Spa and that was impressive, but I'm unsure if it is in production yet.
If you do have a power upgrade, I would advise chasis upgrade to match it if you are tracking the car. The increased torque from the engine can cause problems as the rear drops as power is applied leading to understeer after turn in and on exit.

I'm not technical, but i think it's.....
New headers, 100cell cats, back boxes+exhaust, K+N air filter, and a re-map.
Yep, think that's about it.

3. Carbon fibre replacement bumper (including painting).
4.ECU re-map
5.Pipercross high flow replacement filter.
Power increase = 30-35 Bhp (minimum).
They also quote a useful weight saving of between 30 and 30Kg depending on whether a Mk1,2 or RS. Cost = £4995 including parts & labour but excluding VAT. I think that's a fair bit cheaper than the JZM Manthey upgrade.

So that weight saving is from the replacement bumber alone - hell fire, that's a heavy standard bumper!
And they don't improve the suspension, shame - the Manthey setup is awesome.
I'd also heartily recommend the Manthey set up - I have a fairly comprehensive set of modifications - engine (430 hp), suspension, top mounts, brakes (this time by Parr), aerodynamics.
Suffice it to say, it is fantastic. It is now also well proven with dozens of cars running the modifications. My car has done 20,000 miles since the engine mods with no trouble.
JZ are good, but if you have the time, I'd take the car to Manthey direct.

Now that we have the 964/993 nearly sorted (new headers & intake should have it at 425bhp) our attention will be switching to the GT3 engine soon.
The planned package will include valve train, cylinder heads, pistons & rods for an initial target above 450bhp. We have aquired a fresh GT3R engine to use as a dyno mule with the intention of fitting the development parts into our own mk2 GT3 for testing. Expect to see results early 2006.
